Chief Minister Nitish Kumar said that women police officers would be deployed in every police station of the state. Let us inform that out of 1582 new police sub-inspectors of Bihar, 596 are women. He said that this is an example of women empowerment.
The CM said that according to the population in the state, about one lakh 40 thousand policemen were required. Out of this, 80000 have been appointed and the recruitment process of 20000 is going on. Very soon other vacant posts will also be filled.
