All schools and colleges from class 9 to 12 will open in Uttar Pradesh from August 16. At the same time, from August 5, graduation admissions will start in all the universities and colleges of the state. Classes will be held in degree colleges and higher educational institutions from September 1. Schools from class 9 to 12 will start studying from August 16.
The state government has issued its orders. Let us inform that schools in Uttarakhand, Punjab and Chhattisgarh have been opened from August 1. At the same time, schools for children of classes 1 to 8 will remain closed for now. The government has not taken any decision regarding these.
According to the guideline, schools and colleges will be able to open only with 50% capacity. Meaning only half the students will be able to come to school. Only those students, teachers and staff will be allowed to come to educational institutions which do not have any symptoms. Arrangements for sanitization, thermal screening will also have to be done. It will be mandatory for everyone to wear a mask.
School-college is closed in UP since March
Schools and colleges have been closed in UP since March. Earlier in the last week of June, the government had talked about running only online classes in all schools and colleges from July 1. Since then all the schools have remained open. But the children were not allowed to come to school.

More than 1.71 crore immunized in July
In the month of July, 1 crore 71 lakh 41 thousand people have got corona vaccine in the state. Whereas a total of 4 crore 84 lakh 43 thousand people have been vaccinated in the state so far. Within the last 24 hours, 25 new corona patients have appeared in the state. While 42 patients have been cured.
So far the positivity rate in the state is 2.59% overall and 0.01% positivity rate has been registered in the last 24 hours. There are now 646 active patients in UP, out of which 426 patients are being treated in home isolation. The recovery rate in UP is 98.6%.
