The Ministry of Education has released the list of teachers selected for the National Teacher Award – 2021 this year. A total of 44 teachers of the country have been selected for this award this year. President Ram Nath Kovind will give awards to all the selected teachers on the occasion of Teacher's Day on 5th September. The selection of teachers for the award is done by the State Level Selection Committee/Central Award Committee.
Two teachers selected from Uttar Pradesh
Two of the teachers selected for the National Teacher Award – 2021 this year are from Uttar Pradesh. At the same time, others are from Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Sikkim, Odisha, Bihar, Gujarat and Rajasthan. Nine women teachers are also among the awardees this year.
Apart from this, teachers from the states of Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Delhi, Madhya Pradesh, West Bengal, Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Chhattisgarh, Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Jharkhand, Kerala, Telangana, Karnataka and Puducherry are also included. Huh.
Registration done from 1st June to 10th July
The registration process for National Teacher Award- 2021 was going on from June 1 to July 10. After this, a jury selected the award winners through interviews with teachers on 10 August.
