Schools from class 9th to 12th have been opened in Rajasthan from 1st September i.e. today. On Tuesday, the State Education Department had also issued the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) regarding the opening of the school, which is mandatory to be followed strictly. Along with this, School Education Minister Govind Singh Dotasra also said that the department has decided to reduce the school syllabus by 30 percent and now the evaluation of students will also be done every month. He said that classes in schools could not resume in the last three months due to the pandemic, which has resulted in loss of studies.

There will be tests every month to evaluate
According to the Minister of School Education, the department has prepared for a possible third wave of COVID-19, and we have now also decided to take tests every month to evaluate the students. The results of these tests will be used to evaluate the students as and when required in future.

The minister also expressed hope that the Center would soon issue a corona virus guideline so that schools can be opened for young children. He said that the state government is in touch with the Indian Council of Medical Research and the chief minister frequently discusses the situation with experts and doctors. Any further decision will be taken in view of the situation. He said that it is also mandatory to follow the SOP issued by the department. Also, teachers should take both doses of the vaccine.
