The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, ICAI has announced relief for the students who have lost their parents due to Corona. At the same time, while issuing a notice in this regard on the official site of ICAI, icai.org , said that this scheme will be applicable on the registration done between 1 April 2020 to 31 March 2023.
Registration fee will be waived
Under this scheme, registration fee will be waived for all levels of Chartered Accountant (CA) courses including Information Technology (IT), ICITSS with Orientation Course (OC), AICITSS with Advanced Information Technology and Management and Communication Skills (MCS) courses. .
Registration form has to be filled
Students who want to take advantage of this scheme will have to fill the registration form and submit the required documents. To apply for the scheme of waiver of registration fee, students need to visit the SSP portal of ICAI and fill the registration form. After this the students have to upload the required documents for the respective course.
Form can also be canceled
Along with this, the death certificate of his mother or father attested from any of the concerned authorities given in the notice will have to be uploaded. Thus, the students will not have to pay the fees during the provisional registration. However, if during the scrutiny it is found that the student is ineligible to take the benefit of the scheme, then their form can also be canceled.
