According to the news, the Bihar government is going to compensate the damage caused to the crops in the state due to the storm. For this, farmers of 16 districts will be given compensation. In this regard, all kinds of preparations have been completed at the department level.
Let us tell you that for irrigated area in Bihar, Rs 13,500 per hectare. Whereas for unirrigated area, farmers will be given compensation at the rate of Rs 6800 per hectare. Along with this, sugarcane farmers will get Rs 18,000 per hectare as compensation.
Farmers of these districts will get compensation: Patna, Bhojpur, Buxar, Arwal, P. Champaran, Vaishali. Darbhanga, Madhubani, Sheikhpura, Lakhisarai, Khagaria, Saharsa, Madhepura, Purnia, Araria and Katihar.
