The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will release the results of class 12 board examinations at 2 pm today. In view of the deadline given by the Supreme Court to release the result till July 31, the board is releasing the 12th result today, i.e. on July 30. Students can check their results through the official website cbseresults.nic.in.

According to the given criteria set by the board, this year the 12th result will be decided on the formula 30:30:40. According to the marking scheme, out of the 5 of 10th and 11th, the 3 subjects in which the students have scored the highest will be selected for preparing the result. At the same time, it will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in the unit, term and practical examination of class 12th.
What is the 30:30:40 Formula?
The panel formed by CBSE has fixed the formula of 30:30:40 for the evaluation of class 12 students. Under this, 30 percent weightage will be given to the final result of 10th-11th and 40% weightage will be given to the pre-board exam of 12th. On June 4, CBSE had constituted a 13-member committee to decide the marking scheme of class 12 students.

- Now a new page will open the candidates have to login.
- Your result will be displayed on the screen as soon as you login.
- After checking the result, download it and keep a hard copy.
board launched roll number finder
Earlier the board has launched the Roll Number Finder for the students to check the roll number of the required students to check the result. This link has been activated on the official website of the board, cbse.gov.in. Through the candidates can check their roll number. 10th class students will have to enter their parents' name and their date of birth to know their roll number.
Here's how to see roll number for 10th
- First of all go to the link of Roll Number Finder 2021.
- Now select class 12th here.
- Enter all the information asked in the new window that opens.
- Your roll number will be displayed on the screen.
Marksheet will be available through Digilocker
This year also students will be given digital marksheets through DigiLocker. To download the mark sheet from Digilocker, it has to be downloaded from digilocker.gov.in. The DigiLocker credentials have been sent by the board to the students through SMS. Using this they can download their mark sheet, passing certificate and migration certificate. DigiLocker mobile apps can be downloaded from Google Play or Apple Store.
