The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has given relief to teachers and schools engaged in 12th mark moderation. Now the date for submitting the data related to the result on the portal has been extended. Earlier the last date of moderation was 22nd July, which has been extended to 25th July.

Date extended to prevent mistakes
CBSE has said in a recent circular that schools are busy preparing to submit the marks data. With the last date being July 22, teachers are under stress and making mistakes. They are also appealing to CBSE to rectify the mistakes. Therefore, the last date for submitting data on the portal has been extended to July 25, 2021.

If the moderation is not complete then the result will be released later.
CBSE says, if any school does not complete the moderation within the stipulated time limit, then the result of those schools will be released separately after July 31. CBSE has kept the last date for declaration of 12th result as 31st July.

Moderating marks is a big responsibility
CBSE in another official circular said that moderating the 11th-12th marks is a big responsibility. In such a situation, "justice and fairness" should be ensured for the students while preparing the result. Any difference in school policy can be beneficial for some students and harmful for others.
