In this regard, the board issued a notification and said that in order to increase the quality of the candidates appearing in teaching, CTET-2021 will now be conducted in online mode in December 2021/January 2022.

Trying to stop wastage of paper

CBSE says that conducting the examination in online mode is likely to motivate future candidates to learn and study computer. Along with this, paper wastage due to printing of question paper and OMR sheet will also be prevented.
