The work of land survey is going on in 20 districts of Bihar. But due to lack of correct information, people are facing problems in getting the land survey done. According to the latest report, if a person's land in Bihar is in the name of grandfather-great-grandfather or any person who is not in this world, those people should complete the work of land survey by making a genealogy. Guidelines have been issued for this.

How to make genealogy: Download the genealogy form by visiting the website https://dlrs.bihar.gov.in/docs/Form/Prapatra_3_1.pdf. After that fill this form and submit it to the survey officer. In this form, you have to fill all your information correctly along with the land ryot.

According to the information received, if the land belongs to your grandfather or great-grandfather, then you should have any documents like Khatian, Kewala or receipt of that land. If there are no documents, then you can remove the land paper through online.

Land survey is being done in these 20 districts: Nalanda, Jehanabad, Munger, Lakhisarai, Supaul, Araria, Arwal, Katihar, Kishanganj, Khagaria, Jamui, Sheohar, Saharsa, Sitamarhi, Champaran, Purnia, Banka, Sheikhpura, Begusarai and Madhepura.
