Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the nation on July 29 on the occasion of completion of one year of the approval of the new education policy. Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan gave information about this through social media. During this, PM Modi can speak about the progress made so far in the implementation of the education policy.

The Union Education Minister shared the post and said, "National Education Policy 2020 is a guiding principle to transform the study landscape, make education holistic and lay a strong foundation for a self-reliant India. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the nation on July 29 on the occasion of completion of one year of this reform under the National Education Policy.

The letter written by the Ministry of Education

In this regard, the Education Ministry has written a letter to all the states asking them to attend the program even after the Prime Minister's address. During this webinars on three different topics will also be organized. The education ministry is planning to organize eight webinars on various subjects.

New education policy was approved last year

The Union Cabinet had approved the National Education Policy-2020 on 29 July last year. In this policy, special attention has been given to various issues like access, equity, quality of education. Under the new education policy, the name of 'Ministry of Human Resource Development' was changed to 'Ministry of Education'.

Many major changes have been made in the new education policy from school education to higher education. Under this, for the first time, multiple entry and exit system has been implemented in the country. It is beneficial for such students who leave their studies due to some reason.
