According to the news, under the recommendation of the Central Finance Commission, the Gram Panchayats will get 70 percent of the total amount. While 20 percent money will be given to the Panchayat Samiti and 10 percent to the Zilla Parishad. Preparations for this have already started.
Let us tell you that with this money sent by the government to the panchayats, works like cleanliness, open defecation, drinking water supply, rain water harvesting will be done in rural areas. This will change the picture of villages and people living in rural areas will be benefited in many ways.
At the same time, works like renovation of solar street lights will also be done by the Panchayati Raj Department. Solar street lights will be installed in all the villages of the panchayats. In this regard, survey of streets and roads of villages is also being done. Very soon this work will be completed.
