The CM has said that the appointment of principals in government schools of Bihar will now be done on the basis of competitive examination. Now no teacher will be able to become headmaster without examination. Guidelines in this regard will be issued by the department very soon.
Let us tell you that at present, many teachers are promoted and made the headmaster of the school. But after the implementation of the new system, now the Master Saheb will have to take the exam to become the Headmaster. Only after passing it will the headmaster be made.
CM Nitish has said that head teacher and headmaster cadre will also be formed in Bihar. The CM has said that for the development and quality improvement of school education, head teacher's cadre will be formed in elementary schools and headmaster's cadre in higher secondary schools.
