Eligibility Criteria
For Graduate Engineer Trainees (GETs):
- Age Limit: 18 to 30 years
- Qualification: Full-time engineering degree in the relevant discipline with at least 60% marks.
For Diploma Engineer Trainees (DETs):
- Age Limit: 18 to 27 years
- Qualification: Three-year full-time diploma in the relevant discipline or a B.Sc. degree in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) with at least 50% marks.
Pay and Benefits
- Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET):
- Stipend: ₹40,000 + HRA or accommodation
- Post Training Salary: ₹40,000 to ₹1,40,000 per annum.
- Diploma Engineer Trainee (DET):
- Stipend: ₹23,000 + HRA or accommodation
- Post Training Salary: ₹23,000 to ₹76,200 per annum.
Both positions come with additional benefits such as provident fund, medical insurance, and other perks after completing the training period.
Selection Process
The selection process includes:
- Online Computer-Based Test (CBT): Questions will cover the candidate’s engineering discipline and general aptitude.
- Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates who score at least 50% in the CBT will proceed to this stage.
- Final Selection: Based on merit, considering age, qualifying marks, and results.
