The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the revised syllabus for class 10th – 12th board exams. This revised syllabus for class 9th to 12th issued under the new assessment policy of the board will be applicable for the board examination 2022. Students can check the detailed revised syllabus through the official website of the board at cbseacademic.nic.in.

Board exams will be held twice

In view of the circumstances created due to Corona, CBSE has decided to divide the syllabus for 9th to 12th in two terms this year. Along with this, the entire syllabus has also been reduced. Accordingly, 50% of the syllabus will be taught in Term I, while the rest 50% will be covered in Term II.

Under this, the board examinations for the batch of 2021 will be conducted in 2 times. The first term exam will be held in November-December and second term in March-April. These term exams will be of 90 minutes.

Marksheet will be prepared on the basis of both the term

The board will conduct examinations at the end of each term on the basis of the divided syllabus. The board will prepare the question papers and send them to the schools. The process of evaluation of answer sheets will also be decided by the board itself. These examinations will be conducted under the supervision of the center superintendent and observers sent from outside. The final mark sheet will be prepared on the basis of the marks secured by the students in the first and second term.
