Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has issued a notification to restart the application process for filling 318 vacant posts of Block Horticulture Officer. Candidates who were unable to apply last time can apply by visiting the official website bpsc.bih.nic.in. The application has started from today and the last date is 29 May.
- Graduation in Agriculture Horticulture/Agricultural Science from a recognized agricultural university.
- General Category: 21 years.
- Unreserved Male: Maximum age 37 years.
- Backward Class, Most Backward Class Male, Women, Unreserved Women: Maximum age 40 years
- Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes, Male and Female Candidates: Maximum 42 years
Fees:
- SC/ST/Women/PWD: Rs. 200
- Other Category: Rs. 750

25500 – 81100, Pay Matrix, Level-4

Exam Pattern:
There will be a total of 800 marks examination including 100 marks of General Hindi, 100 marks in General Knowledge, two papers of 200 marks each in Horticulture/Agricultural Science. Questions will be objective type. The number of questions will be 100 in each paper.

- Click on the link to apply for the post of Block Horticulture Officer in the Directorate of Horticulture under the Department of Agriculture, Government on the home page.
- Now create a user ID and password by entering personal details.
- After that login and fill the form.
- Pay the fee.
- Download and keep a copy of the form.
