Eligibility Criteria for Bombay High Courts Recruitment 2024
Education Qualification:- Court Master (Shorthand)
- Candidate must have passed a Degree in Law [including BGL/ LL.B (Academic)] from a recognized University in India.
- Shorthand Proficiency Shorthand (English) with a speed of 120 w.p.m.
- Knowledge of computer operation with a typing speed of 40 w.p.m.
- Regularly holding analogous posts in High Courts.
- Minimum 5 years regular service in High Court as Private Secretary/ Sr. PA/ PA/ Sr. Stenographer cadre.
Age Limit:- Candidates should not be more than 56 years of age as of the last date of receipt of the application form.
Pay Scale:- Leve 11 Rs.67700 to 208,700/-
Selection Process for Bombay High Courts Recruitment 2024
The selection process begins with the receipt of applications, which are carefully reviewed to ensure eligibility. Eligible candidates then participate in a shorthand skills test in English, targeting a speed of 120 words per minute with a maximum permissible error rate.
Those who achieve a score of at least 50 marks move to an interaction stage. Background checks including a review of the last 5 years’ ACR/APAR and Vigilance Clearance are conducted for candidates who pass the interaction stage. Successful candidates are appointed on deputation based on their overall performance throughout this phase.

Application Process for Bombay High Courts Recruitment 2024
Candidates are required to apply for the post of Court Master (Shorthand) on a deputation basis in the Bombay High Courts, interested candidates must ensure that they fulfill the eligibility criteria mentioned in the notification dated June 18, 2024. Applicants should submit their application along with the last 5 years ACR/APAR and vigilance clearance in the prescribed format.
