Eligibility Criteria for Department OF Archeology Recruitment 2024
Education Qualification:- Deputy Director (Archaeology)
- Candidate must have passed a Master’s Degree in Archeology or Master’s Degree in Archeology and Heritage Management or Indian History (Ancient Indian History or Medieval Indian History as a subject/paper) or a Master’s Degree in Anthropology (Stone Age Archeology as one). Subject/ Paper or institute.
- Post Graduate Diploma from Institute of Archaeology, Government of India.
Experience:-
Five years experience in Archeology in Central Govt./ State Government/ Union Territory Administration/ Public Undertaking/ Statutory Body/ Recognized Sector or Autonomous University/ Recognized Research Institute.
Desirable Qualification:
(i) Certificate in Sanskrit/ Pali/ Prakrit/ Persian/ Arabic from a recognized University/
Institute.
(ii) Doctorate Degree in Archaeology
Age Limit:- Maximum age limit For appointment by deputation (including short-term contracts) not exceeding 56 Years as per the last date of receipt of the application form.
Pay Scale:- Level-11 (Rs.67700 to 208700/-)
