Imphal, July 3 — In a remarkable achievement, 44 students from Manipur have cleared the prestigious NEET and JEE 2025 entrance exams under the Indian Army’s ‘Manipur Super-50’ initiative, a program aimed at transforming the lives of underprivileged youth through education.

The students, trained at the Red Shield Centre for Excellence and Wellness, popularly known as Manipur Super-50, were felicitated by the Indian Army during a special ceremony held in Bishnupur district on Tuesday. Among the achievers, six students cleared both NEET and JEE, while Philem Jenin Singh emerged as one of the NEET state toppers with a 97.06 percentile.
A Mission of Mentorship and Empowerment

The results speak volumes: 37 students cleared NEET 2025, and 13 students cracked JEE 2025, gaining access to top medical and engineering colleges across India.
Education Amidst Adversity
Despite facing numerous challenges and disruptions in daily life, the students showed exceptional resilience and commitment. “Many studied under extremely tough conditions,” said Lt Col Shukla. “Their success is a testament to their unwavering determination and the structured guidance provided by the programme.”
During the felicitation event, senior Army and civil officials, including Bishnupur DC Pooja Elangbam, Superintendent of Police Ravi Kumar Ksh, and NIEDO Director Rohit Shrivastava, applauded the students’ achievements and acknowledged the sacrifices of their families.
Transforming Lives and Uplifting Communities
Prizes were awarded as a token of appreciation, and parents expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Indian Army for providing not just coaching, but mentorship and emotional support.
Lt Col Shukla noted that the initiative has not only empowered individual students but also contributed to peace-building and social development in the region. “The Super-50 is more than just an educational programme; it’s a beacon of hope and a driver of change,” he added.
