Post Name: Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) recruits for the post of Assistant Administrative Officer (AAO) periodically.

Education: Candidates applying for LIC AAO should possess a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized Indian University or Institution.

Age Limit: As per previous notifications, candidates must be between 21 years (completed) to 30 years (candidates must have been born between specified dates, with age relaxations applicable for SC/ST, OBC, PwBD, ECO/SSCO, and confirmed LIC employees).

Pay: The basic pay for LIC AAO is ₹53,600 per month. Along with this, candidates receive various allowances and benefits, resulting in a total approximate emolument of ₹92,870 per month in ‘A’ Class cities.

LIC AAO Recruitment Application Fees 2024

Candidates applying for LIC AAO are required to pay an application fee based on their category. As per previous notifications, SC/ST/PwBD candidates are charged Intimation Charges of ₹85 plus transaction charges and GST, while all other candidates must pay Application Fee-cum-Intimation Charges of ₹700 plus transaction charges and GST.

The selection process for LIC AAO typically involves three phases:

Phase-I: Preliminary Examination: This phase includes an online objective test with sections covering Reasoning Ability, Quantitative Aptitude, and English Language (qualifying in nature). Candidates are shortlisted for the Main examination based on their performance.

Phase-II: Main Examination: The Main examination consists of objective tests covering Reasoning Ability, General Knowledge & Current Affairs, Data Analysis & Interpretation, and Insurance & Financial Market Awareness. There is also a descriptive test of English Language (Letter writing & Essay). Marks obtained in the Main Examination are considered for shortlisting candidates for the interview.

Phase-III: Interview: Candidates shortlisted from the Main Examination are called for an interview. The final merit list is prepared based on the marks obtained in the Main Examination and the Interview.
