Rajasthan Board 10th Results Announced: Notable Achievements and Trends

Ajmer, March 24: The Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE) has released the results for the 10th grade examinations, showing an overall pass percentage of 94.23%, which is an increase of 1.17% compared to last year’s 93.06%. The announcement was made by Education Minister Madan Dilawar at the board’s office in Ajmer around 1 PM.

Several students achieved perfect scores in subjects including Hindi, English, Social Science, Science, Mathematics, Sanskrit, Urdu, and Punjabi. Priyanshi from Shekhawati School in Losal secured 99.83%, while Riddhima Jangid from Cambridge School in Mahesh Nagar, Jaipur, achieved 99.67%.

Pallavi from Tesla Public Senior Secondary School in Hanumangarh scored 99.17%, marking her as the district topper. Notably, Pallavi’s father, Suresh Kumar, works as a bus driver at the same school.

Twin sisters Himanshi and Hinl Makwana from the Arnod area of Pratapgarh also excelled, each scoring over 98%.

Despite the high overall percentage, Kota district, the home district of the education minister, ranked 39th out of 41 districts with a pass percentage of 89.25%. In the Hadoti division, Bundi topped with 90.21%, followed by Jhalawar and Baran. Kota’s result improved from 87.89% last year.

This year marks a historic first, as the 10th-grade results were released before the 12th-grade results, and it is also the earliest release in March. The board examinations commenced on February 12, with 1,068,109 students participating.

However, there was a slight decline in the number of students passing compared to last year. This year, 1,049,068 students appeared for the exams, with 988,520 passing, while last year, 1,071,460 students took the exams, and 1,002,842 passed.

The results for the 5th and 8th grades have also been released, although many students faced difficulties accessing the Shala Darpan portal.
