Eligibility Criteria
Technician Grade 1 Signal
- Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree (BSc) in Physics, Electronics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or Instrumentation OR
- Diploma/Degree in Engineering in relevant disciplines.
- Age Limit: 18 to 33 years (as of July 1, 2025).
Technician Grade 3
- Educational Qualification:
- Class 10 (SSLC/Matriculation) pass AND
- ITI or Apprenticeship in relevant trades such as Foundryman, Moulder, Pattern Maker, Forger, or Heat Treater.
- Age Limit: 18 to 30 years (as of July 1, 2025).
Note: Government-prescribed age relaxations will apply to SC/ST, OBC, PwD, Ex-servicemen, and other eligible categories.
Salary Structure
- Technician Grade 1 Signal: Pay Level 5 — Rs 29,200/month + allowances (as per 7th CPC).
- Technician Grade 3: Pay Level 2 — Rs 19,900/month + allowances (as per 7th CPC).

- Rs 250 — For SC/ST, Ex-servicemen, PwD, Women, Transgender, Minorities, EBC candidates (fully refundable on appearing for CBT).
- Rs 500 — For all other categories (Rs 400 refundable after CBT attendance).
