Mumbai, March 25: The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) has released a recruitment notification for the positions of Assistant Statistical Officer (ASO) and Assistant Research Officer (ARO), offering a total of 929 vacancies. The application process for these roles will commence on April 21, 2026. Interested candidates can apply through the official website upsssc.gov.in, with the last date for fee submission set for May 11, 2026, and the final date for form corrections on May 28, 2026.
Candidates must have participated in the Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET) 2025, as only those with a valid PET score will be shortlisted. The educational qualifications required include a postgraduate degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or a related field from a recognized university, along with a diploma in computer applications and proficiency in Hindi typing.
The age limit for applicants ranges from a minimum of 21 years to a maximum of 40 years, with age relaxation applicable for reserved category candidates. The application fee is set at ₹25 for all candidates.
The selection process will be based on the PET 2025 scores, and the monthly salary for the selected candidates will range from ₹35,400 to ₹1,12,400.
In addition to the ASO and ARO positions, UPSSSC has also announced recruitment for 2,759 Technical Assistant positions in the Agriculture Department, with the application process and details to be released soon.
