The last date for online application for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) has been extended from October 19 to 25 by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). Applications started from 20 September. Fee can now be paid before 15:30 hrs till 26 October 2021 (Wednesday). For the first time this exam will be conducted on online mode. This exam will be held from 16 December 2021 to 13 January 2022.

The 15th edition of the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) will be conducted in CBT (Computer Based Test) mode from 16 December 2021 to 13 January 2022 as per the guidelines issued by CBSE. The exact date of the examination will be informed to the candidate on the admit card. The CTET exam will be conducted in 20 languages across the country.

The detailed information bulletin is available on the official website of CTET at https://ctet.nic.in which includes details of exam, syllabus, language, eligibility criteria, exam fee, exam city and important dates. Interested candidates are requested to download the information bulletin from the above mentioned website only and read it carefully before applying.

Interested candidates are required to apply online only through CTET website i.e. https://ctet.nic.in. The online application-process started from 20 September 2021 (Monday) and the last date for submission of online application was kept till 19 October 2021 (Tuesday) 23:59 Hrs which has now been extended to 25 October. Fee can be paid before 15:30 PM till 26 October 2021 (Wednesday).

One thousand rupees will be the examination fee for the general and OBC category candidates. The examination fee for both the papers will be Rs 1200. For SC, ST and handicapped candidates, the fee has been fixed at Rs 500 for one paper and Rs 600 for both the papers.
