Students studying in universities will no longer need to buy expensive books from the market. University Grants Commission (UGC) has uploaded more than 700 e-books under e-PG Pathshala and e-PG Studies in the e-books column on its website www.ugc.ac.in.

Similarly, more than 22 thousand chapters of 70 subjects have been made available. It is worth noting that UG-PG students have to buy different books to complete their course. UGC has also divided the subject into different parts for the convenience of the students and has loaded hundreds of types of e-content on this platform on the respective topic itself.

More than 19 thousand videos… now e-content is being prepared in the state too

The special thing is that apart from e-books and e-content, more than 19 thousand videos are also related to various subjects. Students can directly access these by visiting the portal. The special thing is that the Higher Education Department of the state has also started work in this direction and here also e-content is being prepared by subject experts.

Adult Education, Architecture, Biophysics, Computer Science, Economics, Zoology, Sanskrit, English, Commerce, Education Hindi, Home Science, Media and Communication Studies, Law, Mathematics, Biotechnology, Sanskrit, Sociology and other subjects.

what to do to see the books

Students have to go to the UGC portal and click on e-PG Pathshala or e-Adhyayan (e-Books). After this the list of subjects will appear. By clicking on it, the related topic is also divided into different parts. Whatever material the student has to read, he can read directly.
