Jharkhand TET 2026 Notification Released; Punjab Offers 532 Vacancies

Mumbai, March 30: The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) has announced the notification for the Jharkhand Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) 2026. Candidates can apply starting April 1, 2026, through the official website www.jac.jharkhand.gov.in.

Educational Qualification:

  • Primary School (Classes 1 to 5): Minimum 50% marks in 12th grade and a two-year D.El.Ed or equivalent degree.
  • Upper Primary School (Classes 6-8): Graduation degree with a two-year D.El.Ed or a post-graduation B.Ed degree with at least 50% marks.
  • Maths and Science Teacher: Minimum three-year graduation degree in Science/Engineering/Technology/Agriculture or Maths, along with passing two subjects from Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, and Biology in 12th grade.
  • Social Science: Minimum three-year graduation degree in Arts/Humanities/Social Science/Commerce/Management.
  • Language Teacher: Minimum three-year graduation or post-graduation degree in Hindi, English, Sanskrit, or Urdu.

Age Limit: Minimum 21 years.

Application Fee:

  • General, Extremely Backward Class, Backward Class, and Economically Weaker Section: ₹1300
  • Divyang, Scheduled Caste, and Scheduled Tribe: ₹700

Selection Process: Based on examination.

Exam Pattern: Objective type questions, offline mode, no negative marking, duration of 2.5 hours.

Qualifying Marks:

  • General, Economically Weaker: Minimum 60%
  • Backward Class-1 and Backward Class-2: Minimum 55%
  • SC, ST, Specially Vulnerable Tribal Groups, Divyang: Minimum 52%

Exam Syllabus:

  • Primary Level: General Tribal and Regional Languages, Introduction to the Language and Community, Basic Vocabulary, Basic Grammar, Reading Comprehension, etc.
  • Upper Primary Level: History and Evolution of Language and Literature, Advanced Script Presentation, Functional Grammar, etc.

Punjab Recruitment: The Punjab Subordinate Service Selection Board has announced 532 vacancies, with applications starting from April 1, 2026. The last date for fee submission is April 30, 2026.
