New Delhi: The National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) has released the ranking of higher education institutions of the country. Under this, the list of top institutes of the country has been released. This year the Education Minister released the list of top higher education institutions in the country in total 11 categories including a new category of research. In which the IIT institutions got a glimpse.
These are the top-10 best higher education institutions in the country.
Indian Institute of Technology (IIT Madras) ranked first
Indian Institute of Science (IISc, Bangalore) ranked second
ranked third and Indian Institute of Technology (IIT Bombay)
Indian Institute of Technology (IIT Delhi) ranked fourth
Indian Institute of Technology (IIT Kanpur) ranked fifth
Indian Institute of Technology (IIT Kharagpur) at number six
Indian Institute of Technology (IIT Roorkee) ranked seventh
Indian Institute of Technology (IIT Guwahati) ranked eighth
Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi at ninth place
Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Varanasi in tenth place.
