Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has informed by tweeting that recruitment for 60 thousand posts in government schools will start soon. On November 2, 2021, in the review meeting of the Rajasthan Education Department, many major decisions were taken, including recruitment of teachers on a large scale. Apart from this, discussions were held on upgrading schools and government recruitments stuck in the middle for a long time.
CM Ashok Gehlot said in his tweet that it has been decided to fill the vacant posts in various posts like Teacher, Basic Computer Instructor, Senior Computer Instructor, Lecturer, Second Grade Teacher, Basic Education Teacher and Physical Education Teacher. In the tweet, the CM has also shared a notice of the decisions taken after the meeting.
Recruitment of 60,000 teachers
According to the released notice, 60000 recruitment process will start soon for various posts in school education. These include 31000 posts of teacher, 9862 posts of basic computer instructor, 295 posts of senior computer instructor, 6000 posts of lecturer, 10,000 posts of second grade teacher, 1000 posts of special education teacher, 460 posts of librarian grade-2, physical education teacher. There are 461 posts of Grade-2, 461 posts of Grade-3 and 461 posts of Lab Assistant.
This decision was taken on government recruitment stuck in the middle
After the meeting, necessary decisions were also taken on government recruitments that were hanging in the middle for a long time. Waiting list will be issued for 193 posts of PTI Grade-3 Recruitment 2011, 444 posts of Senior Teacher Recruitment 2016. Apart from this, instructions have been given to complete the process of Lecturer Recruitment 2018 soon.

Orders have been issued to upgrade 481 upper primary schools to secondary schools and 145 secondary schools to higher secondary schools. It has also been decided to increase the number of English medium Mahatma Gandhi schools in cities.
