The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has officially declared the Bihar STET Result 2025. Candidates who appeared for the exam can now check their scores on the official website. More than 2.5 lakh candidates have successfully passed the examination.

Bihar Board Chairman Anand Kishore announced the results, revealing that 2,46,415 candidates appeared for Paper 1, which covers Classes 9 and 10. Out of them, 1,54,369 candidates passed, marking a 62% pass rate. For Paper 2, which is for Classes 11 and 12, 1,95,000 candidates appeared, and 1,02,156 cleared the exam, resulting in a 52% pass rate.

Overall, a total of 4,42,214 candidates took both papers combined, with 2,56,301 passing. This brings the combined pass percentage to approximately 58%. The exam was conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode from October 14 to November 16, 2025.

Passing Criteria for Bihar STET 2025:

General category candidates need 50% marks to pass.

Backward Classes (BC) require 45.5%.

Extremely Backward Classes (EBC) need 42.5%.

Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Persons with Disabilities (PwD), and women candidates must secure at least 40%.
