Changed format of examinations: BTech, BSc and MSc Agriculture examinations will be held in online mode in Gorakhpur University, the application process will start from 1st September

Deendayal Upadhyaya Gorakhpur University in Gorakhpur district will have self-financed courses BTech and BSc (Agriculture), MSc (Agriculture) entrance examinations prepared under the New Education Policy 2020 in online mode. The university administration has taken this decision due to the high number of candidates applying from outside states for admission in these subjects.

Application process starts from 1st September

For a total of 300 seats in all four branches of B.Tech, started for the first time by the university, 2572 candidates have applied for 150 seats of B.Sc. Agriculture, 4000 candidates have applied. On Wednesday Vice Chancellor Prof. This decision was taken in the meeting of the Admission Committee held under the guidance of Rajesh Singh. Vice Chancellor Prof. Singh said that the application process for PhD Admission 2021 will start from September 1. It will be completed by 15 September. Admission committee of each faculty will be formed to complete the admission process.

10 thousand per month will be available in Neeraj Chopra fellowship
Under the Neeraj Chopra Fellowship, it has been agreed to provide free education, food, accommodation, international training with kit and a living expense of Rs 10,000 per month to the selected international players. This fellowship will be given under the Guru Gorakshanath Sports Fellowship.
