
Mumbai, March 19: The latest government job announcements include significant openings in South Eastern Coalfields and the Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB). South Eastern Coalfields Limited is recruiting for 1,700 positions, while the SSB has announced 51 vacancies for Sub Inspectors.
For South Eastern Coalfields, candidates can apply online through the official website secl-cil.in. The recruitment is for various apprentice positions, including 1,100 Technician Apprentices, 500 Graduate Apprentices, and 100 Fresher Apprentices. Applicants must have relevant educational qualifications, such as a diploma or degree in the respective engineering fields. The selection will be based on merit without any examination. Stipends range from ₹8,000 to ₹9,000 per month depending on the position.
In addition, the SSB is looking to fill 51 Sub Inspector positions, with a salary ranging from ₹35,400 to ₹1,12,400 per month. Candidates can apply at ssb.gov.in. The vacancies include 10 Staff Nurse, 21 Pioneer, and 20 Communication Sub Inspectors. Applicants must have completed their 12th grade along with a nursing diploma or a degree in civil engineering. The selection process involves a physical test, written exam, document verification, and medical examination.
Furthermore, the Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) has announced 45 openings for Deputy Collectors, with applications starting on March 21, 2026. Interested candidates can apply through the official JPSC website.
