Ahemdabad, February 27: The Gujarat Subordinate Service Selection Board has announced 212 vacancies for the position of Physiotherapist. Interested candidates can apply through the official website. The last date to submit the application fee is set for March 8, 2026.

– Physiotherapist (Class – 3) Commissioner of Health (Rural) Public Health Wing: 138
– Physiotherapist (Class – 3) Commissioner of Health (Urban) Medical Services Wing: 56
– Physiotherapist/Tutor cum Physiotherapist (Class – 3) Medical Educational and Research Wing: 18
– Total Positions: 212

Educational Qualification:
Candidates must possess a graduation degree in Physiotherapy from a recognized university established by central or state legislation in India. Knowledge of computers and proficiency in Gujarati or Hindi (or both) is also required. If not already registered, candidates must register with the Indian Physiotherapist Association at the time of application.

Age Limit:
– Minimum: 18 years
– Maximum: 35 years
– Age relaxation is applicable for reserved category candidates as per government rules.

Selection Process:
Candidates will be selected based on a written examination.

– General: ₹500
– Female candidates, SEBC, SC, ST, EWS, PWD, Ex-servicemen: ₹400

Salary:
– First 5 years: ₹49,600 per month
– After 5 years: ₹29,900 – ₹1,26,600 per month

– Negative marking: 0.25

– Part A: Reasoning and Data Interpretation, Quantitative Aptitude (60 questions, 60 marks)
– Part B: Constitution of India, Current Affairs, and Language Comprehension (English, Gujarati) (150 questions, 150 marks)
