RPSC AEN Mains Exam Dates Announced

Ajmer, March 20: The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) has announced the dates for the Assistant Engineer Combined Competitive (Main) Examination 2024, scheduled for March 22 and 23, 2026. The admit cards for the examination have been uploaded and are available for candidates to download.

Candidates can access the admit cards through the link available on the commission’s website by entering their application number and birth date. Additionally, they can log in to the SSO portal and download the cards via citizen apps.

The examination will be conducted in two shifts: the morning shift from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM and the afternoon shift from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM.

It is noteworthy that the preliminary exam took place from September 28 to 30, 2025, with results announced on November 27, 2025.

Use of Calculators Allowed
RPSC Secretary Ramniwas Mehta has confirmed that candidates will be permitted to use non-programmable scientific calculators to solve engineering subject papers. As the main examination is descriptive, candidates are also allowed to use transparent blue ballpoint pens, along with regular gel or ink pens. Furthermore, candidates may bring pencils, erasers, and scales as needed.

1036 Positions to be Filled
The recruitment is for a total of 1036 positions for Assistant Engineers. Initially, 1014 vacancies were announced, which later increased by 15 for Civil Assistant Engineers and by 7 for Electrical Assistant Engineers.

Entry Guidelines
Candidates will be granted entry to the examination centre only up to 60 minutes before the exam begins. Late arrivals will not be allowed to enter. Therefore, candidates are advised to arrive early to complete security checks and identity verification.

Identification Required
Candidates must bring a colored print of their Aadhaar card. If the photo on the Aadhaar is old or unclear, they should carry alternative identification such as a voter ID, passport, or driving license, all of which must have a clear and recent photo. Additionally, candidates should not forget to affix their latest colored photo on the admit card, as entry will be denied without a clear photo on the identification.

Stay Alert Against Fraud
Candidates participating in the examination should not fall prey to brokers, mediators, or criminals. Any requests for bribes or other inducements to pass the exam should be reported to the investigation agency and the commission control room at 0145-2635200, 2635212, and 2635255.

Engaging in unfair practices during the examination may lead to severe penalties under the Rajasthan Public Examination (Prevention of Unfair Means) Act, 2022, including life imprisonment and fines up to 10 crores, along with confiscation of assets.
