RPSC Recruitment Update: New Candidates Selected for RAS 2024

Ajmer, March 20: The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) has released an update regarding the RAS 2024 recruitment process, announcing the selection of 29 new candidates for interviews. This decision comes after 29 previously selected candidates were disqualified due to eligibility issues. The commission revealed that 18 candidates were removed from the selection list due to category amendments.

In the recent results, only 7 candidates qualified for the main merit list out of 2,257 who appeared for the Drawing Lecturer exam, leaving 28 out of 35 positions unfilled. The exam, conducted on July 1, 2025, required candidates to achieve a minimum of 40% marks across two papers. Unfortunately, no candidates from the reserved categories were selected.

Additionally, the RPSC announced that all 36 candidates who appeared for the Chemistry Lecturer exam were successful. The Economics Lecturer exam saw only 29 candidates qualifying for the merit list, with 6 positions remaining vacant.

The commission has set a timeline for candidates to fill detailed application forms online between March 19 and March 23, 2026. This is a crucial step for those who have passed the main examination results announced on October 8, 2025.

The RPSC had initially advertised 1,096 vacancies on September 2, 2024, attracting over 675,000 applicants. The preliminary exam held on February 2, 2025, saw participation from 375,657 candidates, with results leading to 21,539 candidates qualifying for the main examination.

Candidates are advised to log in to the SSO portal to complete the necessary online forms, as offline submissions will not be accepted.
