Ajmer, April 2: The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) has released the admit cards for the Sub-Inspector (SI) recruitment exam scheduled for April 5 and 6. Candidates can download their admit cards from the official website and the SSO portal.
Approximately 7.70 lakh candidates will participate in the exam, which will be held across 1,174 examination centers in 41 selected cities in the state. This recruitment drive is for 1,015 positions. Details about the exam districts are already available on the SSO portal.
The exams will take place in two shifts each day: the General Hindi paper from 11 AM to 1 PM and the General Knowledge and General Science paper from 3 PM to 5 PM. The commission has completed all necessary preparations for the examination.
It is noteworthy that the previous SI recruitment exam in 2021 faced issues with paper leaks and dummy candidates, leading to its cancellation. The government is on high alert for this upcoming exam to ensure a smooth process.
How to Download Admit Cards
According to RPSC Secretary Ramniwas Mehta, candidates will receive an additional 10 minutes to fill the fifth option on the OMR answer sheet for each question paper. Admit cards can be downloaded by entering the application number and date of birth on the RPSC website or by logging into the SSO portal through the recruitment portal link.
Entry at Exam Centers
Candidates will only be allowed entry into the examination centers up to 60 minutes before the exam starts. Late arrivals will not be permitted to enter. Candidates are advised to arrive early to complete security checks and identification procedures on time.
Identification Requirements
Candidates must bring a color print of their Aadhaar card. If the photo on the Aadhaar card is old or unclear, they should also carry a Voter ID, Passport, or Driving License, all with a clear and recent photo. Additionally, candidates should affix a recent color photo to their admit card.
Report Any Misconduct
RPSC has urged candidates not to fall prey to brokers or mediators. If anyone demands a bribe or offers false promises regarding passing the exam, candidates should report this to the investigating agency and the commission’s control room at 0145-2635200, 2635212, or 2635255.
Engaging in unfair practices during the exam can lead to severe penalties, including life imprisonment and fines up to ₹10 crores under the Rajasthan Public Examination (Prevention of Unfair Means) Act, 2022.
