The Uttar Pradesh Police Constable recruitment application process is currently open, having started on December 31, 2025. In a significant move, the Yogi Adityanath government has announced a three-year age relaxation for candidates applying for direct recruitment in the UP Police and Jail Department.

This age relaxation applies to several posts, including Constable, PAC, Special Security Force, Women’s Battalion, and Jail Warder. The decision covers a total of 32,679 vacancies across these categories, providing a major opportunity for youth across the state.

The recruitment notification includes posts in Civil Police, PAC, Special Security Force, Women’s Battalion, Mounted Police, and Jail Warder departments. The wide range of vacancies is expected to attract a large number of applicants.

Regarding the application fee, candidates from General, Economically Weaker Sections (EWS), and Other Backward Classes (OBC) need to pay Rs. 500. For Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST), the fee is Rs. 400.

This age relaxation and recruitment drive aim to encourage more eligible candidates to apply and strengthen the police force across Uttar Pradesh.
