501 RO-ARO Positions Open in Uttar Pradesh

Mumbai, October 25: The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has announced the recruitment of 501 positions for Review Officers (RO) and Assistant Review Officers (ARO). The application process will commence on October 25, 2026, providing a long-awaited opportunity for candidates seeking government jobs. The last date to apply is set for November 26, 2026.

According to Secretary Girijesh Kumar Tyagi, a detailed advertisement regarding the examination will be available on the official website starting Monday. This will include information on the online application process, fee submission, caste certificate formats, examination scheme, syllabus, reservation policies, and age relaxation guidelines.

Important dates to note include the final date for online fee payment and application submission on November 26, with corrections to submitted applications allowed until December 3.

In the previous recruitment cycle in 2023, there were 411 positions available, attracting over 1.07 million applicants, resulting in intense competition. This time, with an increase of 91 positions, candidates may find slightly better chances, although competition is expected to remain fierce.

Eligibility criteria for applicants will be outlined in the 2026 notification. Based on previous recruitment rules, candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university, with a minimum age of 21 years and a maximum of 40 years. Reserved category candidates will receive age relaxations as per government regulations. Some positions may also require knowledge of computers and Hindi typing. Candidates are advised to verify their birth dates and documents in advance, as age calculations will be based on the date specified in the notification.
