ARCI Invites Applications for 29 Positions Including Scientist Roles
The International Advanced Research Centre for Powder Metallurgy has announced job openings for 29 positions, inviting applications until November 21.
HYDERABAD, Oct 23: The International Advanced Research Centre for Powder Metallurgy and New Materials (ARCI) is inviting applications for 29 positions, including roles for scientists, technical staff, and administrative personnel. The application process commenced on October 22 and will continue until November 21.
The vacancies include four posts for Scientist ‘B’ in R&D, one post for Officer ‘B’ in finance and accounting, seven Technical Assistant ‘A’ positions, six Assistant ‘A’ roles, nine Technician ‘A’ posts, and two Driver ‘A’ positions. Candidates interested in applying can complete their registration on the ARCI official website before the deadline.
Eligibility requirements for various positions include:
- Scientist ‘B’ (R&D): A degree in Engineering or Technology in materials engineering, materials science and engineering, metallurgical engineering, materials and metallurgical engineering, or mechanical engineering from a recognized institution.
- Officer ‘B’ (Finance and Accounting): A bachelor’s degree.
- Technical Assistant ‘A’: A B.Sc. in Physics (with Chemistry as a subject) or a full-time diploma in metallurgy, mechanical, or electrical engineering.
- Assistant ‘A’: A bachelor’s degree.
- Technician ‘A’: Completion of 10th standard or SSC, along with a full-time ITI in fitter, turner, or electrician trades.
- Driver ‘A’: Passed 10th standard or equivalent, valid driving license for light and heavy vehicles, and relevant driving experience.
All applicants should possess relevant experience in their respective fields, with age limits set between 27 and 56 years based on the position applied for. Selections will involve a preliminary screening or short-listing, a computer-based written test, followed by personal interviews and trade or skill assessments. Salaries for the selected candidates will range from ₹39,970 to ₹1,18,110 per month, depending on the role.
Application fees are set between ₹500 to ₹600 for general and OBC candidates, while SC/EWS/PWD/women/ex-servicemen will need to pay between ₹300 to ₹400.
