To correct a name on your Aadhaar Card, you will need a Proof of Identity (PoI) document that includes your name and photograph. Valid documents for name updates include:

– Indian Passport
– Voter ID Card or e-Voter ID
– Driving License
– Photo ID issued by the central or state government
– Pensioner or freedom fighter photo ID
– Farmer photo passbook
– MGNREGA job card
– Marksheet or certificate from a recognized board or university
– Marriage certificate
– Caste certificate or transgender identity card as per regulations

If you are changing your address, you must provide a Proof of Address (PoA). Acceptable documents for address updates include:

– Indian Passport
– Voter ID Card
– Ration Card or PDS photo card
– Farmer photo passbook
– Bank or post office passbook with a photo, stamp, and signature
– Bank statement or credit card statement not older than three months
– Utility bills (electricity, water, gas, landline, postpaid mobile, or broadband) not older than three months

For updating your date of birth, you will need documents that clearly state your name and date of birth, such as:
