Government Jobs for 772 Home Guards in Jharkhand

Deoghar, October 26: The Jharkhand Home Defense Corps has announced the recruitment of 772 Home Guard positions in Deoghar district. However, the last date to apply online for this significant recruitment drive is today, October 26, 2026.

This opportunity is available for candidates who have completed their 7th or 10th grade and are seeking government jobs. Interested applicants can submit their applications without delay by visiting the official website at deoghar.nic.in.

The recruitment includes separate positions for rural and urban Home Guards. Out of the total 772 positions, 634 are for rural Home Guards, requiring a minimum qualification of 7th grade and permanent residency in the respective block. For urban Home Guards, 138 positions are available, necessitating at least a 10th-grade education and residency in the urban area of Deoghar. Notably, 50% of the seats are reserved for women, with 5% of this quota specifically for widows and divorced women.
