India Donates Laptops to Trinidad School Children

New Delhi, May 12: In a significant gesture of goodwill, India has donated a batch of 2,000 laptops to school children in Trinidad and Tobago. This initiative aims to enhance educational opportunities for students in the Caribbean nation.

During a recent visit to Trinidad, Indian External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar presented the laptops as part of a broader agreement between the two countries. The donation is expected to support the educational infrastructure and digital learning for children in Trinidad.

The laptops were handed over during a ceremony attended by Trinidad’s Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar and other senior officials. This move is part of India’s ongoing commitment to strengthen bilateral relations and promote educational collaboration with Trinidad and Tobago.

Jaishankar’s visit also included discussions on various agreements covering sectors such as tourism, healthcare, and infrastructure, further solidifying the partnership between the two nations.
