NIFT Recruitment 2026: Applications Open for 19 Positions Including Registrar
New Delhi, October 22: The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) has announced a significant opportunity for job seekers. NIFT has released an official notification on its website regarding vacancies for 19 positions, including that of a Registrar, on a deputation basis for a period of three years.
The 19 vacancies include 1 Registrar, 1 Director (Head Office), 1 Director (Finance and Accounts), and 16 Campus Directors. The offline application process for these positions commenced on October 21 and will close on November 20 at 5 PM. Interested candidates are advised to complete their registration process within the stipulated time frame.
Eligible applicants must be officers from the central government, state government, union territories, autonomous organizations, or public sector undertakings (PSUs) who are currently working in equivalent positions on a regular basis and possess relevant experience in administration, establishment, admissions, academic affairs, financial, accounting, or audit matters.
The maximum age limit for applicants is set at 56 years, calculated based on the last date for submission of applications, which is October 21, 2026.
Selection of qualified candidates will be based on their performance in personal interviews or any other selection criteria set by NIFT or the selection committee. The salary for selected candidates will range from ₹37,400 to ₹67,000 per month, along with a grade pay of ₹8,700.

They need to click on the notification link for the relevant post, download the application form provided in the notification, and print it out. After filling in all required information, candidates must attach all relevant documents and send them in a single envelope to ‘Registrar, NIFT Campus, Hauz Khas, Near Gulmohar Park, New Delhi-110016’ via registered post, speed post, or any other means by the deadline.
It is important for candidates to note that the job location for the Registrar, Director (Head Office), and Director (Finance and Accounts) positions will be in New Delhi. Meanwhile, the selected Campus Directors will be posted in Bengaluru, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chennai, Gandhinagar, Hyderabad, Jodhpur, Kangra, Kolkata, Kannur, Mumbai, New Delhi, Patna, Raebareli, Shillong, and Srinagar.
