The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has announced the dates for the Junior Engineer (JE) recruitment exam for 2026. Candidates who applied for the RRB JE 2026 exam can now check the official website for detailed information, including the exam schedule.

A total of 2,585 Junior Engineer vacancies will be filled through this recruitment process. The Computer Based Test 1 (CBT-1) will be held across various centres nationwide on February 19, 20, and March 3, 2026.

The CBT-1 exam will last for one hour and thirty minutes. It will comprise 100 multiple-choice questions covering subjects such as Mathematics, General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Awareness, and General Science. Each wrong answer will attract a penalty of one-third of the marks assigned to that question.

The vacancies are distributed as follows: 1,096 for General category, 246 for Economically Weaker Sections (EWS), 620 for Other Backward Classes (OBC), 411 for Scheduled Castes (SC), and 212 for Scheduled Tribes (ST).

According to the official notification, the exam city slip will be issued 10 days prior to the exam date, while the admit card will be released four days before the exam. Candidates are advised to regularly visit the official RRB website for updates and important instructions.
