
Mumbai, May 15: Uber has announced its plans to launch its first data center in India in partnership with the Adani Group. This significant development was revealed by Uber’s CEO, Dara Khosrowshahi, during his recent visit to India.
The data center is expected to be operational by the end of 2026 and will focus on enhancing artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities and cloud-based infrastructure. This initiative aims to improve data processing speeds, which is crucial for Uber’s operations in the region.
The partnership follows Uber’s earlier collaboration with the Adani Group for electric vehicle services, highlighting the company’s commitment to expanding its technological footprint in India.
