Bihar Board Extends Registration Deadline for Matric and Intermediate Exams

Mumbai, October 25: The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has announced an extension of the registration deadline for the matriculation (Class 10) and intermediate (Class 12) annual examinations. Students and school heads can now register online until November 6, 2026.

This decision comes as a relief for those who were unable to apply by the previous deadline of October 24, 2026. Students can complete their registration forms and pay the required examination fees through the official portal.

According to BSEB Chairman Dr. Tyagarajan S. M., registration must be completed by the principals of the respective schools and intermediate colleges, as students are not permitted to fill out the forms directly.

The extended deadline applies equally to students in Class 9 (for the matric exam) and Class 11 (for the intermediate exam).

The board has urged students and parents to exercise caution while filling out the registration forms, ensuring that all details such as names, parent names, birth dates, subject selections, gender, caste category, and marital status are accurate. Additionally, only new and clear color photographs and correct signatures should be uploaded to avoid discrepancies in future mark sheets and certificates.
