CA Intermediate 2026 Results Announced, Maharashtra Toppers Shine

Mumbai, October 22: The Indian Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has officially declared the results for the Chartered Accountant (CA) Intermediate examination held in September 2026. Candidates can check their scorecards on the official ICAI website at icai.nic.in or icai.org.

This year, two candidates from Maharashtra, Neel Rajesh Shah from Mumbai and Chandak Sakshi from Nashik, topped the examination with an impressive score of 83.67%.

Over 1.5 lakh candidates participated

A total of 100,301 candidates appeared for Group A, while 68,400 candidates took Group B. Out of these, 12,938 students successfully passed, resulting in an overall passing percentage of 18.92%.

Among the 38,339 candidates who appeared for both groups, 5,066 students passed, leading to a total passing percentage of 13.21%.

Topper List Released

Along with the results, ICAI has also released the list of all-India toppers and the passing percentages.

• Visit the official ICAI website at icai.nic.in.
• Click on the active link for the course whose results you wish to view on the homepage.
• Enter the required credentials, including your roll number, registration number, and captcha code, then submit.
• Your result will appear on the screen, where you can view and download your scorecard.

Examination Dates

The CA Intermediate examination was conducted in September, with Group 1’s Advanced Accounting exam held on September 1 and Corporate and Other Laws on September 3. Group 2 examinations took place from September 6 to September 12.
