
New Delhi, May 22: Delhi University (DU) has commenced the registration process for postgraduate programs for the academic session 2026-27, starting from May 16. The last date to apply is June 7, and interested candidates can apply through the official admission portal.
According to the Registrar’s office, students currently in their third or fourth year of graduation are eligible to apply for the two-year master’s programs.
Eligibility Criteria for DU PG Admissions
Students applying from the UR/OBC-NCL/EWS categories must have a minimum of 50% marks in their undergraduate qualifying examination. For SC/ST/PwBD candidates, the required minimum is 45% marks.
Additionally, candidates must fulfill the eligibility criteria for the specific course they wish to enroll in and must take the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) for PG 2026.
Courses Offered
DU offers a total of 82 master’s courses across its 16 faculties, with over 650,000 students enrolled annually in 91 colleges and 86 departments.
Application Fees
The application fee is set at ₹250 per course for unreserved, OBC, and EWS categories, while SC/ST and PwBD candidates will pay ₹100 per course.
This year, the university has introduced a new feature allowing students to link their details, such as name, date of birth, category, gender, parent’s name, and CUET score, through the DigiLocker/API Setu platform.
How to Register on DU PG CSAS 2026 Portal
- Visit the official DU PG admission portal at pgadmission.uod.ac.in.
- Create an account by entering your email and phone number.
- Log in to the portal.
- Fill in the CSAS-PG application form with personal and academic details along with CUET(PG) 2026 details.
Note: According to new regulations, instead of uploading all details, candidates may only need to link their DigiLocker or API Setu accounts, which will automatically upload necessary information like name, date of birth, and CUET score.
Documents Required for Upload
- Upload 10th and 12th mark sheets.
- Upload UG degree/certificate or latest mark sheet.
- Upload category certificate.
- Upload a recent photo along with a signature.
Steps for Admission Application on the Portal
- Pay the CSAS-PG application fee before the deadline.
- Select your preferred course and college for CSAS-PG.
- Prioritize your chosen colleges and lock your preferences.
- Close the application window and wait for DU’s seat allocation list.
- Seats will be allocated based on CUET(PG) scores, reservation, and preferences.
- Upon seat allocation, accept the seat by paying the online fee.
- If the first preference is not granted, options to ‘freeze/accept or float/upgrade’ are available.
- Check for the next seat allocation round.
- Complete the admission process after physical verification at the college.
The university has also announced that applications for one-year PG programs initiated under the New Education Policy (NEP) 2020 will soon be available on a separate portal. Students are advised to keep checking admission.uod.ac.in for updates.
Reservation Policy
DU has reserved 27% of seats for OBC (non-creamy layer) candidates and 22.5% for SC/ST candidates, with 15% for SC and 7.5% for ST. Additionally, 10% of seats are reserved for EWS candidates, with the EWS certificate needing to be updated after March 31, 2026. Furthermore, 5% of seats in every course are reserved for PwBD candidates, with a separate seat allocation result to be declared for them.
