Mumbai, August 27: The Department of Posts, Government of India, has announced the recruitment notification for Gramin Dak Sevaks (GDS) for the year 2026. Applications will be accepted starting from August 31. Interested candidates can apply through the official website at www.indiapost.gov.in.
Educational Qualification:
- Candidates must be Indian citizens.
- Must have passed 10th grade from a recognized board/institution.
- Must have obtained passing marks in Mathematics and English in the 10th grade.
Age Limit:
- Minimum: 18 years
- Maximum: 40 years
- SC/ST: 5 years relaxation
- OBC: 3 years relaxation
- PWD: 10 years relaxation
Application Fee:
- General, OBC: ₹100
- SC, ST, PWD: Free

Salary:
- Branch Post Master: ₹12,000 – ₹29,380 per month
- Assistant Branch Post Master: ₹10,000 – ₹24,470 per month
