JEE Advanced 2026 Results Announced: Kotas Shubham Tops, Kabir Secures Second Rank

Kota, June 1: The results for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced 2026 have been officially announced. This year, Kota has produced the All India first and second rank holders, with Shubham achieving the top position and Kabir securing the second rank.

Celebrations erupted in Kota as students, parents, and teachers danced to drums and music to mark the occasion. This marks the third consecutive year that Kota has produced the All India first rank holder.

With the JEE Advanced results, approximately 55,000 students have qualified for counseling for admission into B.Tech, integrated M.Tech, and dual degree programs at 23 IITs across the country.

Initially scheduled for release at 10 AM on Monday (June 1), the results were unexpectedly announced at 2:30 AM on Sunday.

Last year, a record number of candidates passed the examination. In 2025, a total of 180,422 students participated, with 54,378 qualifying across various categories, representing a qualification rate of 30.01%, the highest recorded to date.

Notably, there was a significant drop in the qualifying numbers last year, with the Common Rank List (CRL) cutoff falling to 74 marks in 2025, down from 109 marks in 2024. This represented a percentage decrease from 20.56% to 30.34%.
