
Kota, May 3: The NEET-UG 2026 exam commenced today across 611 centers in Rajasthan, with candidates allowed entry starting at 11 AM. A strict three-layer security check is in place, ensuring that no mobile phones or electronic devices are permitted inside the examination halls.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced that the exam will begin at 2 PM, with the main gate closing at 1:30 PM sharp. No candidates will be allowed entry after this time.
Over 2.09 lakh candidates are expected to take the exam across 27 districts in the state. The administration has issued stringent guidelines regarding security, traffic management, and dress code to ensure a smooth examination process.
In Jaipur, Kota, and Sikar, which are known for their coaching hubs, a significant number of students are participating in the exam. To mitigate traffic congestion, additional police personnel have been deployed at key intersections.
Security personnel at the centers are conducting thorough checks, using metal detectors to ensure compliance with the regulations. Students have utilized any available time before the exam to revise their study materials.
